Depending on the year, the distribution of support may vary, but typically, Edufund focuses on fields with a high number of students, such as Business and Education, particularly at the postgraduate level.

The distribution ratios, fields of study, and target countries will be proposed by the Academic Board of each member institution.

  • To establish clear guidelines for the allocation of funds to eligible academic programs, ensuring that resources are distributed effectively to enhance educational quality and accessibility.
  • To align the allocation of funds with EduFund’s mission to promote equity, innovation, and excellence in education across diverse fields and regions.

EDUFUNDEligible Recipients

Eligible recipients include current or accepted students at Swiss HEIs, relatives of graduates from Swiss HEIs, students with disabilities, displaced students due to war or conflict, and those with significant financial need or academic merit.

General criteria for all programs require applicants to be enrolled in or accepted by a recognized Swiss HEI and demonstrate commitment to academic achievement and community service.

The application process involves an annual open period with guidelines and required documentation, a selection committee reviews applications transparently, and funds are disbursed directly to institutions or students based on the type of support.
