Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in or have received acceptance to one of the educational institutions of SIMI Swiss.
  • Scholarships are awarded based on criteria including, but not limited to, financial need, academic merit, and any additional requirements stipulated by EduFund.
  • Priority may be given to applicants from specific geographic regions or fields of study as determined by EduFund.
  • Edufund could apply for: Relatives of SIMI Swiss alumni; Leaders with Excellence Awards; New graduates with outstanding; Students facing significant difficulties; Students with Disability; SIMI Swiss Alumni want a top-up.

Application Process
  • All applications must be submitted via the official portal and/or local representative by the stated deadline.
  • Applicants must provide all required documentation, including academic transcripts, proof of enrollment, financial statements, and a personal statement, as part of their application.
  • Applications that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline shall be considered invalid and will not be reviewed.

Scholarship Award and Disbursement
  • Tuition Fee Reduction: The scholarship shall be applied solely as a reduction in tuition fees at the recipient’s educational institution. Under no circumstances shall the scholarship be disbursed in cash or any other form of direct monetary payment to the recipient. The scholarship award is non-transferable and non-convertible to cash.
  • The amount of the tuition reduction is determined by EduFund based on the recipient’s demonstrated need and academic standing.
  • The scholarship shall be credited directly to the recipient’s tuition account at the educational institution and shall not be available for any other use.

Use of Scholarship Funds
  • Scholarship funds shall be used exclusively for reduce payment of tuition fees as outlined by EduFund.
  • Any attempt to convert the scholarship into cash or use it for non-educational purposes shall result in immediate termination of the scholarship and may require the recipient to repay any disbursed funds.

Renewal and Continuation
  • Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis and are subject to renewal upon the recipient maintaining satisfactory academic progress and adherence to all terms and conditions set forth by EduFund.
  • Recipients are required to submit updated academic transcripts and proof of continued enrollment on an annual basis for scholarship renewal consideration.
  • EduFund reserves the right to review and adjust scholarship awards and conditions at the end of each academic year.

Termination of Scholarship
  • EduFund reserves the right to terminate the scholarship at any time if the recipient fails to comply with the terms and conditions, including failure to maintain satisfactory academic progress or any form of academic dishonesty or misconduct.
  • In the event that any false or misleading information is discovered in the application, the scholarship shall be immediately revoked, and the recipient may be required to reimburse EduFund for any funds disbursed.

Code of Conduct
  • Scholarship recipients are required to adhere to all codes of conduct and ethical standards as established by their educational institution and by EduFund.
  • Any violation of academic or institutional policies, including but not limited to plagiarism, cheating, or other forms of misconduct, shall result in the immediate forfeiture of the scholarship.

Amendments to Terms, Regulations, and Policy
  • EduFund reserves the right to amend these terms, regulations, and policies at any time without prior notice.
  • Any such amendments shall become effective immediately upon their publication on the EduFund website or other official communications to scholarship recipients.

Yes, scholarships are awarded on an annual basis and are subject to renewal. To qualify for renewal, recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress and submit updated transcripts and proof of enrollment each year.

What happens if I fail to meet the scholarship terms and conditions?

If a recipient fails to adhere to the terms and conditions, such as not maintaining satisfactory academic progress or violating the code of conduct, EduFund reserves the right to terminate the scholarship. If false information is discovered in the application, the scholarship will be revoked, and repayment of disbursed funds may be required.

Can the terms and regulations of the scholarship change?

Yes, EduFund reserves the right to amend the scholarship terms, regulations, and policies at any time. Any changes will be communicated to all current and prospective scholarship recipients and will take effect immediately.

How will I know if my application is successful?

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application. If you are not selected, you may receive feedback to help you improve future applications. If selected, you will need to formally accept the scholarship offer and commit to the terms and conditions.
